Hautbois House offers schools excellent facilties.

House Accommodation

There are 12 bedrooms of varying sizes sleeping up to a total of 39 guests. Three rooms have en-suite bathrooms, others each have their own hand basins and shared bathrooms. There is a ground floor bedroom which is suitable for wheelchair users. Enclosed is a house plan and room description to help with allocation. You will note that rooms are named after counties in the Anglia region. The minimum number for a house booking is 25.

Campsites & Facilities

House East This site is by our cut (a channel leading from the river) and comes with a dry shelter and cooking facilities, which can be hired. The toilet block has four toilets and washing facilities one of which is for disabled users. Capacity 100

House West This site shares the same field as House East and has its own toilet block with three toilets and washing facilities one of which is for disabled users.

Badger This is a sheltered smaller site surrounded by trees. It has its own toilet block with three toilets and washing facilities one of which is for disabled users.

Glebe This site offers a quiet sheltered campsite with no toilet or washing facilities. Chemical toilets and other equipment can be hired from Great Hautbois House. Please see the price list.

Curlew This is a new site offering a sheltered and flat camping ground for groups. It is quiet and well away from the busy parts of the Centre. There are no toilet or washing facilities provided although these can be hired from the Centre.

Lime Pits Upper This site is ringed by trees which provide good shelter and an exciting area to explore in. The site has its own toilet block with three toilets and washing facilities one of which is for disabled users.

Campfire Circles There are three circles, two on Lime Pits and the other next to the cut by House West. Any groups may use them with prior consent. A plentiful source of wood is provided close by.

Cooking Fires Altar fires are provided for your use as no ground fires are permitted. Wood is supplied for your use.

Showers There are 8 modern power showers provided at the rear of the House for all campers and activity users.

Fridge Freezers Each campsite has the shared use of a fridge freezer.

Washing and drying machines These are located at the back of the house, tokens can be bought from the office.
