Autumn 2002 The storms that hit Britain on the 27th October did not leave East Anglia untouched. We were fortunate to retain electricity throughout the day, but there was some realtively minor damage to the estate. Several large trees, predominantly Oak, had large branches torn off, and a Silver Birch near the archery field was uprooted, as was a large willow on the lower meadow near Curlew campsite.
